January 2020 PRAYER POST / ANNOUNCEMENT Jeremiah 31 New International(NIV)
23 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “When I bring them back from captivity,[c] the people in the land of Judah and in its towns will once again use these words: The Lord bless you, you prosperous city, you sacred mountain.
24 People will live together in Judah and all its towns—farmers and those who move about with their flocks.
25 I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.”
At our last gathering, we heard and learned from our friends out in the field of times of waiting.. of times of frustration.. of times of meditation .. and of times of rejoicing. The times of waiting and frustration became a place of meditation and rejoicing in His goodness and sovereignty, that lead to opportunities and fruitfulness in the work inside NK. Even now, as new obstacles continue to present itself, we remain confident that those who are inclined to do evil will “vanish from the Earth and the wicked be no more.” So, Lord, as we remain in a state of readiness, we rejoice in your faithfulness and know that you are the one who is transforming NK, the one who will free the captives in NK. In Jesus’ name, A-men.
As we enter into a new year and new season of the Lord’s favor upon NK, we will once again use words of blessing and prosperity for NK and its people. May the sparks of change grow to a blaze of transformation throughout all the cities and provinces of NK, bringing restoration, refreshment, hope and peace. In Jesus’ name, A-men.
We’ll be having our next Prayer Gathering on January 19, 6:00 p.m., at a member’s residence in Ellicott City, MD. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org (for address) if you are able to attend.
Let’s gather and, through our prayers, continue to be an agent of change for NK.
