PRAYER POST
Jeremiah 33 New International Version (NIV)
Promise of Restoration
33 6 “‘Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security. 7 I will bring Judah and Israel back from captivityb]”>[b] and will rebuild them as they were before. 8 I will cleanse them from all the sin they have committed against me and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against me. 9 Then this city will bring me renown, joy, praise and honor before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things I do for it; and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it.’
At our January gathering, we heard an unusually inspirational testimony from a Korean-American Missionary couple who began their NK ministry, well into their 60’s. Now, nearly 10 yrs into their ministry, they have completed a formidable wind energy project (a story of perseverance and the Lord’s sovereignty …..”when it is the Lord’s work, no human interference can withstand it’s force”), and have begun a “farming partnership” model in NK that encourages free market theologies and paves the way for independent minded farming families to prosper, beyond imagination. Thru these “partnerships” with local farming units(families), the field worker was able to provide the equipment, organic fertilizers and know-how to bring about a crop yield that generated thousands of dollars in net profit for these families. This was a realization of prosperity for the NK families, thru the restoration and proper utilization of the land, itself. And along with the other many business ventures already in operation in NK, prosperity, abundance and peace is being cultivated in NK, now.
So Lord, we thank you for the transformation that is at hand, already, in the land of NK. We thank you for the Jeremiah 33 abundance, prosperity and peace that is being planted and cultivated by your workers thru all facets of economy and societal needs. May the full restoration and revival of the land of NK begin with your abundant prosperity and peace, carried and built by the people of your calling (all ages !). In the name of Jesus, A-men.
Prayer Request:
It appears that recently in Yanji, a SK pastor was deported, a SK business building will be shut down and other workers are being sought by the police. As we advance, there is push-back. Please join the field workers, in prayer, for “families to listen and obey Him, persevere in what He commanded us (to do) and (to) stand firm in any circumstances”.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
We will have an early March gathering (none in February) on March 5, 2016, 5:00 p.m., at a member’s residence at 20708 Ashburn Valley Ct., Ashburn, VA 20147. Please RSVP to wthomasyi@aol.com if you are able to attend.
Let’s share in the abundant prosperity that is being poured out over the land of NK as we contend, in prayer, for the workers in and near NK. We remain confident that every single prayer will be counted and answered in His time.
