“23 Then he turned to his disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see.
24 For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”.”
At our last prayer gathering, we were treated with the testimony and sharing from a missionary couple who had served more than a decade in muslim dominant countries overseas. They reminded us again how God tends to show up in greater glory and magnificence when we rely upon him, totally and without reservation. As they faithfully endured the challenges(on the front lines of spiritual battle) and always moved forward with eyes fixed upon Him, they saw and heard the tangible presence of God that emboldened their spirits and encouraged all who were entrusted to them.
Although most of us have not been in the trenches of “spiritual battle” on the front lines of the work in NK, we are blessed to see and hear His works in action. We know that it is only by His grace and the works of thousands of spirit filled warriors of the past many decades that we can stand now as grateful witnesses to what is unfolding in NK. Lord, we thank you that, by your grace and mercy, we are still counted as a small part of the army of prayerful servants who have sown into the land of NK for the past seventy years. May you bring a mighty wave of a new generation of workers to transform that land, town by town, city by city, province by province, bringing your truth, light and eternal hope, A-men.
We’ll be having our June Prayer Gathering on June 23, 6:00 p.m., at a member’s residence in Ashburn, VA. An SK pastor will be sharing her perspectives of the recent events in NK. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org (for address) if you are able to attend.
